Who we are
The National Links Land Police Service (NLLP) is the national police service responsible for protecting communities across Links Land. NLLP was established to provide consistent, accountable policing built around the needs of the public it serves.
Policing by consent
NLLP's approach is rooted in policing by consent: the idea that officers police with the permission and cooperation of the public, not by the use of force alone. This means listening to communities, being visible and approachable, and using enforcement powers fairly and proportionately.
Serve, not just arrest
Officers are encouraged to see themselves as part of the community they serve. Prevention, support, and early intervention sit alongside enforcement, so that policing solves problems rather than simply responding to them after the fact.
Our structure
NLLP is organised into neighbourhood policing teams, an emergency response division, a crime prevention unit, and a dedicated anti-terrorism unit, all supported by control room and records staff working around the clock.
Commitment to the community
NLLP is committed to transparency, fair treatment, and being answerable to the public it serves, publishing regular updates through its news and press office.
